Description
Static structure deterioration over time in the Museum Building, which was opened in 1973. This situation was closed to visitors due to the reason of the danger due to the safety of life and property.
After the closing of the Old Museum Building, the new museum building was opened to visitors in May 2011.
Milet Museum display areas; It consists of two main parts: garden display and indoor display. Lion sculptures, inscriptions, cemetery, sarcophagi, architectural elements and column capitals, which are the symbols of the city of Miletus, are exhibited in the garden display.
